Lin Wei Ru 林葦茹 (Ruru Lin) is one of the top models in Taiwan. Born in Taiwan, she started modeling after graduating from Jinwen University. At 1.8m tall, she is a popular model in the catwalk circuit and as a lingerie model. She has recently moved to hosting and acting on television.

Honey Lee Ha-Nui 이하늬, 24, is the third runner-up at the 2007 Miss Universe beauty pageant in Mexico. Her father is a high ranking Korean National Intelligence Service officer. Her mother, a professor at Ewha Women’s University, was designated a “living cultural asset” in the field of gayageum (12-string Korean traditional instrument) music. Honey Lee, like her mother, is also a professional gayageum player, and was named a gayageum prodigy by the Kumho Art Center.

Chinese model 张雪 Zhang Xue is touted to be the model to watch. Blessed with a 1.8m model’s body and an international look, she is well liked by the modeling industry and has graced the covers of many magazines in China.
Born in Brazil and raised in Tokyo, Japanese-Brazilian Akemi Katsuki 樂明美 clinched a Wacoal endorsement deal when she was 15 years old. She moved to Hong Kong to further pursue her modeling career and was spotted by Taiwan agency EMS International. Now at 20 and based in Taiwan, she is dubbed as the hottest pin-up girl in Taiwan after supermodel Lin Chi Ling.
Jun Ji-hyun began her career as a model after graduating from the Department of Theater and Film at Dongguk University. She landed her first movie role in 1999. Audiences started noticing her in Il Mare (remade by Hollywood as The Lake House), but it was 2001’s My Sassy Girl that won her the Best Actress award at the Daejong Film Festival in 2002 and catapulted her into international stardom. Jun Ji-hyun will be seen as Saya, the lead character in the live action version of Blood: The Last Vampire, which is slated for a Spring 2008 release in the US.
Chinese Model Lynn Xiong (熊黛林), has an oriental face that many in China consider perfect. She is rumoured to be Aaron Kwok’s current squeeze.

At 20, Aya Hirano 平野綾 is probably every otaku’s favourite Seiyuu and J-pop singer. Her big break came in 2006 when she was cast as the voice of the title character in the immensely popular The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, which bagged her a Best Newcomer award at the first Seiyū Awards. Her CD single Bōken Desho Desho? containing the opening song of the show also sold out in Japan on the first day of released. Her popularity was confirmed when she successfully released her first photo book “Stairway to 20”.
Aya Hirano has just released her second photo book “1/19 Bmp“. Her latest single “Love★Gun” (a typical Aya punk/rock number) was released recently while two other singles will be released before the end of the year.
