I finally picked up my long abandoned in-line skates. The weather was so fine, slightly moody but breezy.

I set out walking towards East Coast Park from my place, my loyal Ipod snugly wrapped around my left arm and i was listening to Paul Oakenfold's numbers.

I put on my skates once I reached East Coast Park. There were many weekenders along the beach. Some were swimming, some camping, some having family picnic, some just strolling along the track. I see many pet dogs as well as children crawling and running across the jogging track...haha

I skated towards the end at Fort Road and then made a U-turn and skated all the way towards the other end passing by the East Coast Sea Sport Club.

As I was about to make a turn to the Cable Ski area at the junction of Bird Santuary, my left skate's front wheel crossed over a twig and that thrown me backward with a huge impact!!! Thanks God I'm blessed with a full butt (), it was painful, my tail bone felt hurt but I got up quick and continue my journey. My right wrist was scratched and bled. It got more painful when sweat rolled down my arm towards my wrist and got blended with the blood at the wound area. I just let it be.....

Half way through, I witnessed a bicycle accident between a teenager and a small boy around 7 yr old. I was on the left lane doing my thang, and the small boy was cycling on my right lane while his mother was watching at a distance.

He was cycling straight, and I saw this teenager coming very fast behind us, he didn't slow down a bit and tried to cross over us in the middle. Unfortunately, the small boy made a sudden turn and the teenager banged into the small boy's bicycle at the center (like a 'T' shape). The small boy's mother screamed 'Oh my god!!" And everyone nearby started to surround the area.

The impact sent the teenager thrown off his bicycle and landed shoulder forward abt 4 meters ahead, and then came his bicycle landing on top of him. The small boy on the other hand, just too shocked about the whole incident and he stood up from his fall looking at his mother with a  puzzle.

No one was injured. Just suffered minor scratches and shock I guess. I didn't slow down, I just move ahead...

The moral of the story is, when you see any pets or children along the path ahead of you, do not take for granted, please slow down.... Their moves/actions are unpredictable..:-)
