As a long time instructor of photographic lighting workshops, it is no surprise that the images he produce highlight the beauty and strengths of the product and clearly illustrate the benefits of the client's service. Among his roster of clients are Super Bowl of China, Big Buddha, Chili's, Victoria Court, La Corona Hotel, Pearl Manila Hotel, Pier One, Kumon, Soda and Blue computer laptops.
He has also done poster and publicity photography for the local movie industry with a string of film titles such as "Mano Po 3", "Aishiteimasu", "Bedtime Stories" and the international award-winning horror flick "Sigaw" (which is now being filmed as "Echo" for the international film market) to his credit. Jay is a contributing photographer for Mabuhay magazine, Philippine Airline's in-flight publication, and High Life magazine.
In between shoots, JayA teaches at the Alcove Gallery, Filipinas Heritage Library (an Ayala Foundation Inc. division) starting out with the Technology & Livelihood Resource Center (a government livelihood training institution) in February 1996. He also teaches occasionally at One Workshop Gallery. He authored the pioneering "Primer In Lighting" photo workshop, realizing the need for a more in-depth and specialized seminar on the subject matter in the Philippines. Aside from lighting classes, Jay also conducts basic photography courses nationwide and has taught for companies and institutions such as Accenture Photography Club, Procter & Gamble, Picture Company, Caltex/Chevron-Texaco, Pilipinas Shell, the Civil Service Commission and even for the top executives of Microsoft Philippines.
JayA has been tapped by Axis Global Technologies to become the first official endorser of Olympus digital cameras in the Philippines. He has also conducted several photography training workshops for the company's promotion and sales team.

Hello, I'm not in good mood to write...so stressed. My twin sister is now in Singapore. If any of you want to have a twin/ sister shoot, please propose a theme and date and place. TFCD! I'll discuss with my sis on your proposal and consider. Thanks!
Hello folks, I'm just wondering on how the general response would be if I am to organise a photoshoot session in one of the 5-star hotels in Singapore. I have not decide on the date yet but it all depends on room availability and how many people are confirmed to go with deposit paid at least 1 week in advance. After doing my math, I have to look at about S$88 registration fee per person per 1 session (2 hrs) and S$118 per person per 2 sessions (4 hrs). I welcome any suggestion on theme, any theme you think is best or suitable for a hotel room that will cost an average of S$500 - S$600 per night stay. If I am to go for a non 5-star hotel, it will be around S$380 to S$450 per room. Any comment or suggestions? Welcome comments from those who had done a shoot in hotel room before (excluding Hotel 81!! :-p)

Expecting around 4 photographers. Actually this is organised by a photographer, and I'm just in charged to get the car and model. ;-)
| | The Sago worm or Sago grub (si’et), is the larvae of the Capricorn Beetle (Rhynchophorus ferrugineus/bilineatus). It lives and feeds on the starchy pulp of sago trunk (so the name came from) Sago palm, which is common in the wetter fresh water swampy parts of Southeast Asia. Sago worm also can be found in other starch bearing palm like Pantu palm and Aping palm found in the interior of Borneo. It is regarded as a special high-nutrient delicacy among most Sarawak tribes such as the Melanau.
Sago worms have a plump, yellowy-cream body with a soft-ridged texture and a hard-shelled head. On close examination the body can be seen to be covered by fine hair.
Sago grubs taste like meat and are often smoked/roasted or fried. Sometimes consumed raw with sago.
Sago Delight, Kadazan or Fried Sago Worms is a speciality in Malaysia, although versions of this dish can be found in many South-east Asian countries and Papua New Guinea.
In Papua New Guinea sago worms are roasted on a spit to celebrate special occasions.
