We rented a fisherman's boat to Pulau Lengkuas on Tuesday afternoon. The weather was super good for photography. The sky is so blue and water crystal clear. I can clearly see some big fat star fishes beneath the water while on the boat.

We reached Pulau Lengkuas around 11.30am. Sun was high in the sky and the sand is so white and beautiful when combined with the blue colour from the ocean.

We walked up the rusty staircases of the old lighthouse built in 1969. It is still functional. The body of the whole lighthouse is made of steel. There's a hollow panel on the center of the lighthouse structure. Every sound creates echoes...

When we reached the top of the lighthouse where the light is. The room temperature was as hot as in sauna room. The wall is made of thick glass panels and no window. We were sweating like nobody's business. John had a few shots of me posing with the light while i'm dripping sweat.

The way down the structure was much smoother. All windows are opened or shattered hence cool sea breeze welcomed us on every floor.

The view from the lighthouse is amazing! The ocean is so blue and interspersed with some greenish colours from the corals and planktons.

The loveliest place of all. Go if you have a chance!

These pictures were taken on the 1st and 2nd day of my photo trip to Belitung. I love Tanjung Kelayang, the fishermen anchored their boats on the sea shore...the water was so calm and so clear that you can peep to the bottom of the sea. Fishes are everywhere..

Then we stopped by a fishermen's village on our way back to Tanjung Pandan, there's a long bridge built out to the sea and a fishing boat has just arrived with they day's catch. I shot a short video of the lovely kids in the village...

I really want to recommend this place to all avid photographers. The ocean is so beautiful, clear blue water you can see the fishes and coral on the bottom of the sea.

The sand is white and fine, I can't believe I've seen 'Maldives' when I am in Belitung. Taking 'Maldives' as an example because I thought Maldives has one of the most beautiful island paradise.

We went to Pulau Lengkuas with a fishing boat. Went up to the old lighthouse that was built in 1969. The view from the windows of the lighthouse was so spectacular! Must go!!!

Gonna upload some pictures from my camera once I am done editing them. Pictures of me taken by John will be uploaded in about 2 weeks' time as John is busy with other project.

So...go to Beitung!! You'll love it there!
