| | I was here again yesterday for another photo session. There was a dead bird (headless) in one of the hall room, just behind the yellow sofa couch. No wonder I smell something....:-P |

"A picture is worth a second look only if it conveys an emotion. Like a bee, it stings the heart and keeps the sentiments abloom. My goal is to infect my viewers with what they see in my picture. Be it a smile, a frown, a hopeful gaze or a look of despair, life is worth sharing.
There is so much to explore in the human face. From the smooth skin of the children to the wrinkles of the olds, all the lines and textures carry a story with a thousand words. But a portrait can be more than that. It can tell us a thousand stories with a million words. That is what I am trying to achieve with my portraits.
I started off my journey in photography looking at beautiful pictures in glossy magazines. Borrowing point-and-shoot cameras from people who trusted me enough, I finally bought my own when I could afford it. I started to take photography seriously when I purchased my first decent camera 4 years ago. However, I believed that an SLR camera would improve the quality of my pictures. I went for Nikon D70 a year later and when I lost it late last year, I interpreted it as a signal to upgrade. A Nikon D200 is the answer.
From then on, there is no turning back. Inspired by the scenes of love and life, hardships and despair, hope and aspiration, celebration and colors around me, I strive to document the world as seen through my eyes. Traveling also allows me to visually enjoy other cultures. However, my appreciation of the world only finds its fulfillment when I can share it with others.
Lyrical…that’s how I would describe a good photograph. It sings a song of emotion. It recites a soulful poem. It paints with a dramatic light. Although portraiture is my forte, I am trying to take other scenes as they unfold before my eyes.
In my four years in photography, the world is my classroom. Everyday is a learning experience. Spontaneity is my key. I maybe blind about the technical side of photography but I have my eyes wide open to see beauty in some unimaginable places. For me, that is the essence of photography. Only then will people give your picture a second look."
